#5 Finnish company launches renewable lubricant

In Finland, aerosols company AT-Tuote has launched an industrial lubricant with 95% renewable content, including renewable isoalkane from Neste.

AT-Tuote plans on launching the lubricant, trade-named AT Renewable Penetrating Lubricant, in the United States, Nordic Countries, Germany, Canada, Mexico and Brazil in spring 2020. Applications include industrial, automotive, and do-it-yourself markets.

“This type of a penetrating lubricant is in general used to release corroded parts, as well as to clean and give light lubrication. New AT Renewable Penetrating Lubricant is developed from environmentally and user-friendly chemical components, and it performs even better than conventional penetrating lubricants,” says Jorma Virtanen, Managing Director at AT-Tuote.
