#9 Three major initiatives sign letter of cooperation to make fuel cell garbage trucks mainstream in Europe

In Belgium, FuelCellWorks reports that three European projects that are developing and deploying fuel-cell-powered refuse trucks have signed a letter of cooperation in order to establish a united front that will showcase how fuel cell refuse trucks offer a non-polluting and quieter alternative to conventional diesel trucks. The projects consist of the Revive Project, Life ‘N Grab HY!, and HECTOR, which seek to develop and validate the necessary tech for the vehicles, address critical uses of fuel cell garbage trucks under various operating conditions, and lay the groundwork for further development of the fuel-cell refuse truck, respectively.
