Here’s what we found after looking at the hard data. There is no difference between fuel prices for gasoline or diesel that can be assigned from price data to the impact of a Low Carbon Fuel Standard. That’s significant, because the pushback has always been around price impact because oilcos and environmental groups allied against an LCFS use that to quench public interest in action on transportation fuels through bioenergy.
