The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dropped 0.65 percent to 66.97 as advanced biofuels and chemicals declined. For the day, Aemetis (AMTX) bombed out, dropping 15.38 percent to $0.33, while BioAmber (BIOA) declined 6.59 percent to $4.25. Among other equities, Verenium (VRNM) shed 3.72 percent to $2.33. Overall, declines led advances 9 to 7 for the day.
