The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, plunged another 2.81 percent to 69.74 as the sector was whalloped for the second consecutive day. For the day, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) dumped 8.59 percent to $6.80, while Aemetis (AMTX) plummeted 24.75 percent to $0.22. Among other equities, Gevo (GEVO) slumped 6.25 percent to $1.20. Overall, declines led advances 3 to 1 for the day.
