The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dumped 1.43 percent to 79.96 as advanced biofuels went into the penalty box. For the day, Amyris (AMRS) shed 5.05 percent to $3.76, while Gevo (GEVO) lost 6.08 percent to $0.80. Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) declined 3.02 percent to $10.26. Overall, declines led advances 13 to 3 for the day.
