The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, fell 0.65 percent to 68.56 after an advanced biofuels tumble. For the day, Gevo (GEVO) settled back 4.03 percent to $3.81, while Cosan (CZZ) retreated 3.24 percent to $6.86. Among other equities, Aemetis (AMTX) dropped 5.654 percent to $4.51. Overall, advances led declines by a 9 to 7 ratio for the day.
