The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, was flat at 63.36 despite an ethanol sag. For the day, Gevo (GEVO) soared 8.12 percent to $8.77, while ADM fell 0.56 percent to $28.63. Among other equities, Green Plains Renewable Energy (GPRE) fell 4.03 percent to $6.67. Overall, declines led advances 5 to 4 for the day.
