For the day, Sacom (SAM.MI) jumped 6.50 percent to $10.65, while Amyris (AMRS) fell 4.21 percent to $2.96. Among other equities, Aventine Renewables (AVRW) dumped 16.00 percent to $21.00. Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
