The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, was flat at 65.39 despite an advanced biofuels surge. For the day, Cerces (CERE) soared 37.33 percent to $0.45 on news of its Raizen sweet sorghum deal, while SOlazyme (SZYM) dumped 8.56 percent to $2.77. Among other equities, Aemetis (AMTX) tumbled 7.76 percent to $3.92. Overall, declines and advances were even for the day.
