For the day, Amyris (AMRS) recovered 4.00 percent to $2.60, while Gevo advanced 4.17 percent to $5.99. Among other equities, KiOR (KIOR) climbed 3.24 percent to $7.01. Overall, advances led declines 7 to 1 for the day.
