The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, jumped 1.75 percent to 66.98 as 2013’s Santa Claus rally continued. For the day, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) soared 11.14 percent to $4.39, while Green Plains Renewable Energy (GPRE) jumped 6.05 percent to $19.98. Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) surged 7.02 percent to $3.66. Overall, advances led declines 11 to 4 for the day.
