In Germany, Ship & Bunker reports the BMT has bunkered 1,200 metric tons of B100 for the first time in the country to a dredger from the Jan de Nul Group. The UCOME-based biofuel was ISCC certified and had GHG emissions of 85% lower than the fossil fuel equivalent. Jan de Nul has been one of the leading European shipping companies when it comes to piloting differing biofuels and biofuel blends and then switching its fleet when ready.
