In Brazil, Reuters reported that Brazil is studying some $30 billion in projects looking to produce low-carbon hydrogen, an official from the country’s mines and energy ministry said.
According to Brazil’s energetic transition planning secretary Thiago Barral, the South American nation has a potential output of 1.8 billion metric tons.
He said that this potential would come from renewable sources such as wind, solar, as well as the carbon-capturing of fossil fuel emissions.
