In Brazil, Reuters reported that soybean harvest in Brazil will reach a record 178.5 million tons in 2026, up 3.9% from 2025, industry association Abiove said.
The projected increase takes into account a revised 2025 soybean crop estimate of 171.8 million tons, 1.5 million tons higher than the September forecast.
“The figures reflect the strength and efficiency of the Brazilian soybean chain, which continues to increase its competitiveness and add value in the domestic market,” said Daniel Furlan Amaral, Director of Economics and Regulatory Affairs at Abiove.
Brazil’s soybean exports in 2026 are forecast at 111 million tons, a new record and 1.4% higher than in 2025, according to the entity.
