In Canada, representatives of Luxembourg-based Heridge SARL expect the paperwork regarding the purchase of Great Lakes Biodiesel to be finalized in the coming weeks rather than months so the work to get the plant back online can go forward. The company is willing to invest more in the viability of the plant but recognizes that securing investment from the Canadian government that fell through in 2013 is vital to the long-term viability of the facility.
