In Germany, Caphenia and Condor have entered into an agreement for the future procurement of sustainable aviation fuel. As a partner, Condor will support the further development of the process to market maturity while securing access to agreed-upon quantities once production reaches an industrial scale. This is expected to occur in 2027, Caphenia said. Mark Misselhorn, CEO of Caphenia, said: “The partnership with Condor is a remarkable step for the development of sustainable aviation fuel. The signal it sends in this crucial phase of SAF production ramp-up is groundbreaking. It shows the market and potential investors that, through cooperation and foresight, it is possible to provide the required quantities of SAF for aviation. We are fully aware of the significance of this unique partnership with Condor, which serves as a beacon for the entire industry, and it reinforces our commitment to making aviation sustainable.”
