In China, China Global South reported that China asked Indonesia to guarantee long-term supplies of crude palm oil (CPO), natural rubber, and edible bird’s nest.
The report noted that the request was made during bilateral farm talks in Jakarta last week.
Indonesia’s vice minister of agriculture, Sudaryono, said that Indonesia is open to cooperation in this field. He added, “We want to access the market directly without going through other countries so that it can go straight to China.”
