Coalition supports Renewable Natural Gas Incentive Act currently in House committee

In Washington, National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) as part of a coalition of associations representing small businesses, clean energy advocates, and local governments, sent a letter to House Financial Services Committee leaders and Senate Finance Committee leaders urging them to move H.R. 2448, the Renewable Natural Gas Incentive Act. The bill would create a one dollar per gallon tax credit for renewable natural gas (RNG) used for transportation. This is in line with the one dollar per gallon tax credit for renewable diesel fuel users.
