Compagas and Scania launch 100% biomethane bus trial in Brazil

In Brazil, Compagas together with Scania, and in partnership with the Municipality of Ponta Grossa (PR), started on Tuesday a demonstration with a bus 100% powered by biomethane, which becomes part of public transport in the city for the next 30 days. Casa Scania Cotrasa will provide full day-to-day support to the chosen customer, Viação Campos Gerais (VCG). The demonstration is part of the project linked to more sustainable urban mobility, which has been developed in the main cities of Paraná, and which aims to certify efficiency indicators, in particular, the reduction in pollutant emissions in vehicle use and the contribution to sustainability goals.
