Comments from readers. What special actions are you taking, what impacts are you seeing? In short, what’s happening and what should happen as you see it?

  • I’m staying home because my type of work allows it ( I’m not bound in R&D, production, sales, etc..Network bandwidth is becoming an issue as skype and other remote communication systems are pushed to their limits  General earth pollution is declining  A max amount of of people should read the Washington Post article and see its graphics, I checked most people ( even kids) can understand the need for isolation measures. Here there has been a run on food stores, beware it could happen to in the US. There is a lot of fantasy on the efficiency of surgical masks as protection from others and ” homemade masks with bits of cloth… a clear lack of public communication. In the US cities, I fear a problem with access to hospitals in the near future and certainly with the response of some insurance companies  This is the third large ( but the largest) virus issue in less then 10 years, we should see policy changes to react to potential new issues of this type which will most likely arise.
  • We need to ease demand on supply chain so resources can be directed to medical care, first responders and law enforcement. Focus needs to be on avoiding societal breakdown vs economics
  • Clear, concise and truthful government info about extent and danger of pandemic. Realtime reporting on number of positive tests and their specific locations.
  • RFC like operation to make loans to established business and support for ongoing company support in renewables sector.
  • We are slowing production and considering shutting down.
  • Developing a disaster plan that addresses all aspects of business.
