Cremer Óleo Paraguay green lighted to export biodiesel to US and Europe

In Paraguay, Cremer Óleo Paraguay SA became the first industry to obtain certification from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Sustainability in Renewable Raw Materials (ISCC), which authorizes it to export biodiesel to competitive markets in the US and Europe. The company made an investment in the initial phase of $13 million, but that is now around a total of $30 million, with a production capacity in a plant of about 112 million liters per year of biofuels, with the raw material of soybean oil. For the second phase of development and expansion in the coming years, it plans to double the installed capacity and begin the expansion, diversification and modernization of the industrial process to build the first biorefinery in Paraguay.
