DCC and Certas Energy rolling out HVO for truck fleets across the UK

In the UK, DCC plc announced its UK roll out of renewable diesel from Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) as a refuelling solution for its customers. The initiative forms part of DCC’s Leading With Energy strategy and will see Certas Energy become the first company in the UK to offer HVO fuel to heavy goods vehicle (HGV) fuel card users at the pump. 

Certas Energy has been adopting HVO renewable diesel across its own delivery fleet. Following a successful trial at two depots, which saw almost 1,000 metric tons of carbon emissions cut from operations in just one year, Certas Energy is accelerating the use of HVO across its 900-strong fleet.
