For the day, BioAmber (BIOA) fell 6.28 percent to $3.73, while Aemetis (AMTX) lost 4.86 percent to $1.95. Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) tumbles 7.59 percent to $1.46. Overall, declines led advances by a 4 to 1 ratio for the day.
