The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, gained 0.44 percent to 50.63 as ethanol equities advanced. For the day, Metabolix (MBLX) dumped 16.00 percent to $1.47, while BioAmber (BIOA) soared 13.68 percebt to $6.15. Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) jumped 6.84 percent to $4.53. Overall, advances led declines by a 3 to 1 ratio for the day.
