The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, gained 0.53 percent to 51.60 as advanced bio rallied. For the day, Global Bioenergies (ALGBE.PA) jumped 11.67 percent to $28.70, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) dropped 6.80 percent to $4.52. Among other equities, Abengoa (ABGB) dumped 10.16 percent to $1.15. Overall, declines and advances were even for the day.
