The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, was flat at 55.25 despite a large cap surge.
For the day, UPM (UPM) soared 8.99 percent to $16.25, while Aemetis (AMTX) dropped 4.24 percent to $2.71. Among other equities, BioAmber (BIOA) shed 3.08 percent to $4.41.
Overall, advances led declines by a 5 to 3 ratio for the day.
