In Belgium, EcoCeres announced it made its initial delivery of 10 million liters of Hydroprocessed Esters and Fatty Acids Synthetic Paraffinic Kerosene sustainable aviation fuel to the Evos Ghent terminal. This marks a significant milestone in EcoCeres’ expansion into Europe and begins their collaboration with Evos, a leader in jet fuel storage and handling.
Evos Ghent, known for its role in the first-ever sustainable aviation fuel delivery through NATO’s Central European Pipeline System to Brussels airport, is poised to become one of the largest SAF terminals in Europe. This partnership leverages Evos Ghent’s extensive experience and infrastructure to meet the growing demand for SAF.
James Ni, CEO of EcoCeres said: “We are thrilled to announce this collaboration with Evos, a well-established player with access to critical EU infrastructure. It allows the repurposing of existing infrastructure, securing green jobs, and providing our customers with an easy choice between fossil jet fuel and SAF. Customers can now easily opt for a fuel that offers up to 90% of emission reduction.”
