EPA expected to release final RVO this week with slightly higher biodiesel levels

In Washington, Bloomberg reports the Environmental Protection Agency is set to finalize blending biofuel blending levels for 2023-2025 this week with volumes expected to be modestly higher than first proposed following extensive lobbying. Although volumes are expected to be higher, sources said they won’t be as high as the biodiesel industry has been pushing for. It is also expected the EPA will postpone plans to include electric vehicles within the Renewable Fuel Standard’s RIN system.
