In Japan, erex Co., Ltd. has signed an MOU with Lào Cai Province, Vietnam, regarding the development consideration of newly-built biomass power generation projects and cooperative relationship in the Tang Loong Industrial Area in Bao Thang District.
An exchange ceremony regarding this MOU was held between the Company and Lào Cai Province at the Vietnam Tourism Investment Conference held in Tokyo on April 23, 2024.
Under these circumstances, the company is engaged in energy development projects, including “construction of biomass power plants in Vietnam”, “development of biomass fuels in Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries”, and “fuel conversion by biomass co-firing at coal-fired power plants”, based on the Company’s biomass power generation business, which allows both de-carbonization and domestic procurement of energy resources.
