Ethanol production and stocks pull back from record highs

In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports that Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol stocks fell to a five-week low last week to 24.334 million barrels, down from record highs the previous week by 630,000 barrels, as production fell by 35,000 barrels per day to an average of 1.044 million barrels. The West Coast region imported 2.65 million gallons of ethanol, the second import in three weeks, while the other four regions saw their stocks fall.
