Ethanol production impacted by flooding

In Washington, Brownfield AgNews reports that Energy Information Administration data reports flooding that impacted ethanol transportation last week lowered production volumes slightly by 10,000 barrels per day to an average of 1.054 million barrels. Even so, stocks grew slightly 23.603 million barrels as input purchases by refiners and blenders fell slightly. Ethanol exports jumped to 182,000 barrels a day, up 77,000 from last week. Crush margins remain high, higher than last year at the same time.
