In France, Actu Environnement reports that the Ministry of Energy Transition recently announced the launch of a call for tenders during three phases for methanization installations larger than 25 GWh intended to inject biogas into the network during 2024. It aims to develop a production capacity of 1.6 terawatt hours per year (TWh/year). The first session, which will close on February 15, will target a capacity volume of 500 TWh. In June, the ecology ministry announced a 12% increase in prices for biogas injected into the national grid.
