In Colorado, Genesis Biofuel and Abundant Energy Solutions have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the formation of a joint venture in algae-based biofuel. The venture, Algal Biofuel Refineries, will aim to complete their Demonstration Laboratories within the next three months and will be located in Englewood, Colorado. The joint venture plans to have construction of a Pilot Facility by Q1 of 2013.
