In India, Solar Quarter reported that Jochen Flasbarth, State Secretary of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), joined representatives from GIZ ESP and German companies in Vietnam to explore the potential of the green hydrogen industry in the country. According to the report, delegates underscored the untapped potential of green hydrogen across various industries in Vietnam. Proposals were made to leverage mechanisms such as the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) to provide technical and financial support to Vietnam, facilitating the growth of the green hydrogen industry. The German firms that participated in these discussions including Enertrag, Bosch, The Green Solutions (TGS), TÜV SÜD, Siemens, ThyssenKrupp AG, and Bundesanstalt für Geowissenschaften und Rohstoffe (BGR).
