In Malaysia, Business Times reported that GKN Aerospace has signed an agreement with DHL Express to use its GoGreen Plus service to reduce carbon emissions for its international shipments.
DHL Express’s GoGreen Plus service seeks to mitigate the environmental footprint of customer’s supply chains by blending sustainable aviation fuel into conventional jet fuel.
According to DHL, the usage of its GoGreen Plus service will cut the carbon emissions of international shipments for GKN Aerospace’s engine repair facility in Johor, by 30%
The report noted that GoGreen Plus is made possible following two of the largest SAF deals with bp and Neste in 2022 to supply over 800 million liters to the DHL Express network.
