In New York, Research Nester reported that the global sustainable aviation fuel market size is projected to grow at a CAGR of over 42% from 2023 to 2035. The market is expected to reach overall revenues of $15 billion by the end of 2035, up from revenues of nearly $435 million in the year 2022, according to the report. “This growth of the market is set to be dominated by the increase in the number of people traveling by plane. Initial traffic data from international airports which make up ACI World reveals that there were approximately about 6 billion passengers on planes last year, an over 52% increase over 2021. As a result, with the surge in air transport the demand for aviation fuel is also growing,” the report added.
