Gruner Renewable Energy signs MOU for first bio-CNG plants in India using Napier grass

In India, Energetica reports Gruner Renewable Energy has signed an MOU with Bioenergy Germany to establish the country’s first bio-CNG plants using Napier grass as feedstock. Together the companies have agreed to establish 100 such plants with the first one set to be completed in Maharashtra in November, owned by APSS Bio Energy. The world’s largest plant of its kind will be capable of producing 56MW of power using a capacity of 6000 TPD on Napier Grass.
