Grupo Potencial invests $548M in biofuel projects

In Brazil, Grupo Potencial announced an investment of R$3 billion in biofuel projects, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and sustainability in the energy sector. The announcement was made Tuesday during the signing ceremony of the Fuel of the Future Law, in Brasília, by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. This new legislation aims to boost the energy transition in Brazil, promoting cleaner and more sustainable fuels. In addition to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, the measure should stimulate the economy, generating jobs and attracting new investments.
