India aiming for E100 in passenger vehicles, followed by hydrogen

In India, the Press Trust of India reports the transportation minister believes says he wants all passenger vehicles to run on E100 in the next few years in preparation for the country’s transition later on to hydrogen. A key platform for the NDA government is to shift farmers away from being food producers and instead become energy producers. The prime minister is aiming to push India into becoming a $5 trillion economy which will have to rely on a wide range of sectors from energy to infrastructure to achieve those goals.
