In India, The States Man reported that the Himachal Pradesh government will set up Ethanol plant at Jeetpur Behari in the Una district.
The Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and the state government would equally share the construction cost of the plant.
According to the report, the state’s share would include the cost of the land to be given by the state government for the construction.
The report also said that the local government expects the construction of the plant in two years.
