In the UK, Airport Technology reported that Israeli airline EL AL confirmed the delivery of its latest Boeing 787 Dreamliner on August 7, using 30% sustainable aviation fuel.
According to the report, the flight from Seattle’s King County International Airport-Boeing Field to Tel Aviv was the first EL AL flight to use SAF.
EL AL CEO Dina Ben Tal Ganancia said: “The historic arrival of our first jet using SAF marks another important milestone in our strategic plan – expanding and renewing our fleet and strengthening our commitment to sustainability.”
