Jakson Green to build methanol production plant in partnership with NTPC

In India, India Education Diary reported that Jakson Green has won a project from National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) to establish a methanol synthesis facility at Vindhyachal, in Madhya Pradesh state.

According to the report, the methanol synthesis plant will be a part of NTPC’s Vindhyachal Thermal Power plant with a production capacity of 10 tons per day. 

Jakson Green will oversee the entire design, engineering, procurement, and construction of this project on turnkey basis, in partnership with NTPC. 

Bikesh Ogra, CEO and Managing Director of Jakson Green said: “We believe that methanol production is a key element in India’s transition to a low-carbon economy, and we are proud to be at the forefront of the movement.
