In the UK, TTG Media said the proposed sustainable aviation fuel bill laid out by the Labour Party’s new incoming government and announced via the King’s Speech on Wednesday seeks to promote domestic increased SAF production by providing a “revenue certainty mechanism”. Although imports are expected to supply much of the proposed 10% SAF blending mandate, the country also wants to promote domestic production. There was no timescale outlined for implementation of the proposed mandate.
