In South Korea, The Korean Economic Daily reported that Korean Air Lines Co. signed a SAF memorandum of understanding (MoU) with LX Pantos Co.
The report noted that this MoU is in line with Korean Air’s Customer Participating SAF Collaboration Program, which is the first of its kind in the domestic air cargo sector. LX Pantos is the first company collaborating in this program.
Under the terms of this agreement, both companies agreed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the air cargo operations and enhance domestic awareness of SAF usage.
LX Pantos will participate in purchasing SAF for Korean Air’s cargo transportation.
