In Australia, Dongmun Greentec is looking to invest $77 million in a new ethanol plant southwest of Deniliquin that will produce 115 million liters annually from 300,000 tons of locally grown wheat. The project would consume upwards of 870 million liters of water annually, half coming from recycling and the other half from the city’s water system. Local partners are looking at how to supply CNG to the plant to power the distillation. It could take 16 months to build.
