In Sweden, Lakeway Link AB has partnered with ScanOcean AB to utilize B15-DMA, for its new roll-on/roll-off (ro-ro) service between Södertälje, Sweden, and Gdynia, Poland. Deliveries will be in Södertälje, to the vessel M/S Lakeway Express.
ScanOcean AB, a leader in renewable marine fuel solutions, will supply the B15-DMA fuel, which meets ISO 8217 standards and has ISCC-EU certification. The use of this fuel supports the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, improving the Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII) and Clean Shipping Index (CSI) scores for Lakeway Link’s vessels, and is compatible with upcoming FuelEU Maritime regulations.
Fredrik Hermansson, CEO of Lakeway Link AB, said, “Our decision to partner with ScanOcean AB and begin using B15-DMA fuel is a pivotal step in our journey towards reducing our environmental impact.”
Jonatan Karlström, Managing Director of ScanOcean AB, added, “We are thrilled to partner with Lakeway Link AB as they embark on their new ro-ro service. With our new product offerings, we are dedicated to leading the charge towards a greener maritime industry.”
