In North Dakota, the North Dakota Monitor newspaper reports the last Public Service Commission was held to determine whether or not Summit Carbon Solutions’s permit reapplication with farmers and landowners testifying against the project. The commission denied the application last year partly because it didn’t think the company’s plan took into consideration concerns from landowners and said that the pipeline should skirt the capital city of Bismark. Landowners are concerned about safety and destruction of cultural resources.
