Nayara Energy to invest $71.8 in two new ethanol plants

In India, the Economic Times newspaper reports Nayara Energy plans to invest $71.85 million in two new ethanol plants, based in Andrha Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh respectively. The facilities, expected to come online in 2026 with each be able to produce 200,000 liters of ethanol daily from corn and broken rice. Three more ethanol plants are in earlier stages of development. It is also beginning to explore sustainable aviation fuel production. The company is backed by Russian energy giant Rosneft.
