In the UAE, ESG Mena reports that Noor Oil is teaming with the Beeah group to create a used cooking oil biodiesel supply chain. Customers can source UCO bottles from different outlets to collect their oil and then deposit it into one of Beeah’s five UCO collection centers. The expectation is that at least 2,000 of Noor’s customers will begin using the UCO collection service that will then boost biofuel feedstock supply as well as save as many as 2 million liters of water annually.
